In the oil paint we use a high proportion of natural haematite pigment from Florence Mine, high-quality cold-pressed linseed oil and locally-sourced beeswax to make our Egremont Red oil paint. Using traditional techniques, we avoid the use of toxic chemicals and mull by hand in small batches to create a unique artisan product. This dries quickly, mixes well with other colours and is light-fast.
