Create a colourful underwater scene at this one-off workshop with Ruth Moore, suitable for adults and children aged 7 and
Wet-felting involves laying sheep's fleece and fibres onto a flat surface to create a picture. Warm water and soap are added
and the fibres are rubbed gently so they eventually knit together to form one piece. No needles are used and the skills learnt can be used at home to create your own artworks!
The price is per person making and covers the cost of all materials which are supplied. For example, if you accompany a
child and help them to make their picture you only need to pay for one person, if you make one for yourself you'll need to pay for a place too. No prior skills needed.
Ruth Moore is a local artist who uses wet-felting and needlefelting techniques to create pictures, bag designs,
wall-hangings and more. Her work was most recently shown at Florence Arts Centre this summer as part of the Diversity of Threads exhibition.
