"So close to gorgeous, the result is exquisite"

Tim Carroll (FolkWords)

Returning to Florence Arts Centre this November, West Cumbrian duo Chapin-Wickwar will be bringing us out in goosebumps once again with a night of great live music. Performing songs from their debut album If... alongside tarcks from their new release No Heaven, their exquisite harmonies and songwriting are matchless.

Sue and Lisa have been writing and singing together for only three years but they sound like they were born to perform together. Their songs are reflective and emotional, delicately played yet touching on contemporary issues; both personal and universal when the pair perform together they peel away the usual audience/performer barriers and allow us to see into their hearts and souls.

Their latest album, No Heaven, was released this summer and has already garnered praise from audiences and critics. Upon release it was Folkwords' 'Album of the Month' - "it forges a pure and perfect connection between artists and audience through nakedly revealing and sensitive soul-baring songs".

Don't miss your chance to see Chapin-Wickwar in the intimate surroundings of Florence Arts Centre - we guarantee one of the most memorable gigs of the year!
