Florence Arts Centre

Covid-19 statement

It is with much sadness that following yesterday's Government announcement Florence Arts Centre will be temporarily closing our doors to the public from today Sunday March 22nd. We will re-open as soon as we responsibly can and will keep you updated.

We are very conscious that the stronger the measures which we all take now, the sooner we can hope to return to what may be a new normality. We must not unnecessarily add to the burdens on the NHS or other key workers. The health and well-being of our staff, volunteers and visitors is of paramount importance.

Look after each other, be kind and we will get through this together. Humanity is at its best when we love and care for everyone. Please remember to consider the elderly and vulnerable within our communities, we are all responsible for doing what we can in these strange times. Stay well, not only for your own sake, but also for that of others.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Please keep well and follow the latest advice from the Department of Health:

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either
  • A high temperature
  • A new continuous cough
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home
Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if
  • You feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • Your condition gets worse
  • Your symptoms do not get better after 7 days
Only call 111 if you cannot get help online

Our warmest regards,

The Florence Arts Team.
